ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Eph 6:18)
Let me begin by saying that every genuine encounter with God’s acts of mercy demands a response, and that response is thanksgiving. There are times when words are not enough to express our gratitude. That is why God has given us the privilege of giving Him thanks in the Holy Ghost. Apostle Paul says, he that gives thanks in the Spirit “giveth thanks well” (1Cor 14:17).
As our custom is, every Friday, we gather for 30 minutes for Tongues of Fire. Today, as we continue in the joy of our 13th Anniversary, we will dedicate this time to thanking God and singing His praises in the Spirit for His faithfulness to us as a Devotional family.
“What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the Spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also” (1Cor 14:15)
So, join us with a heart full of gratitude. Let’s together lift our voices in the Holy Ghost and return all the glory to the One who has faithfully sustained this mandate for 13 years.
