ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb 4:16)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed” (Joel 2:26)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for today’s MTD. Open my eyes to see what you’re showing me, in Jesus name – Amen.“
We give God the glory for the success of yesterday’s MTD Covenant Day Of Mercy. You shall manifest undeniable breakthrough in your business/career, in Jesus name.
Beloved, one painful thing about shame is that it keeps a person silent. Shame makes people feel they are not good enough, not pure enough, or not qualified for God’s blessings anymore. Some people carry shame because of failed relationships, poor decisions, sin, family issues, or disappointments in life. Am I describing you this morning? The good news is that the grace of God has the capacity to change your story this month.
The mystery of grace is that God does not treat us according to our failures. He gives mercy instead of condemnation. God does not condemn us when we fail, He extends His mercy instead. For instance, Peter denied Jesus three times, yet Jesus still restored him and made him great in life. That is grace.
Many times, the enemy wants people to remain trapped in shame so they can keep doubting themselves. But God does not want His children to live hiding in guilt and pain. So, He showers His grace on us to give us confidence to rise again.
Beloved, if you’re going to overcome shame, you must accept that God’s mercy is stronger than your mistakes. Stop punishing yourself for what God is willing to forgive you of. What grace has covered, don’t let shame continue to expose it.
God is still able to restore your joy, dignity, and purpose. Your story is not ending in shame. Grace will give you a new beginning this month, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
The grace of God is wiping away every shame in your life, in Jesus name.
