ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
”Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1Cor 15:58)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for your Word to me today. Open my eyes to see wondrous things from today’s MTD, in Jesus name – Amen.“
As we bring the theme of the month to a close today, I want to point out that receiving testimony is not an end in itself but the beginning of a higher level that demands consistency. Many people seek God earnestly through prayer and fasting, but once their desires are fulfilled, their spiritual intensity fades. What you did to secured your testimony is exactly what is required to sustain it.
The danger is that after experiencing progress, it is easy to become casual. Prayer life drops, commitment weakens, and focus shifts. But testimony is not preserved by a shout of excitement, it is preserved and sustained by consistency.
Consistency is what turns a moment of breakthrough into a lifetime of impact. It is the ability to keep doing the right things, even when the pressure is gone and the urgency is no longer there.
In the journey of the children of Israel, entering the Promised Land was not the end. They still had to fight battles, obey God, and remain committed to His instructions to possess and sustain what was given to them. Many people lose what God gave them because they stopped doing what kept them strong.
If you must remain at your next level, you must remain steadfast. Stay committed to God. Stay disciplined. Stay consistent in your walk with God. And know that testimony is sustained by consistency.
