ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand…” (Deut. 28:12)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for your Word today. Speak directly to me, in Jesus name – Amen.“
An open heaven is the cure for earthly dryness. You can never run dry when you are operating under an open heaven. When heaven opens, rain comes down. But when the heaven over a person is closed, struggle continues.
This is why you must ensure that your heavens are not shut or turned to brass; otherwise, all your efforts may be in vain. There are keys that keep our heavens open, and prayer is one of those keys. As simple as it sounds, whenever you pray to God in the name of Jesus and in faith, the windows of heaven open and release what you have asked for according to His will.
Many of our apportioned blessings from heaven will not manifest until we become desperate about our situation through persistent prayer and, more importantly, through fasting.
Read these scriptures:
“Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened.” (Luke 3:21)
James 5:17-18 says: “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”
There is no more effective way to trigger a release from heaven than to pray in the name of Jesus. In these crucial times, when there is dryness and drought in many areas of life, we desperately need rain. God desires to send us what we need. Therefore, beloved, let us pray until it rains.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray for you today, your heaven shall continually open, in Jesus name.
