ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth” (1Kings 18:1)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hos 4:6a).
Ignorance is worse than any disease you can think of. Many destinies have been caged, not by demons or lack of prayer, but by ignorance, ignorance of what to do per time and ignorance of covenant practices. This is why many struggle in poverty, stagnation, and repeated cycles of delay. If we must experience our next-level breakthrough this year, then ignorance is the enemy we must deliberately fight.
One major area where ignorance has affected believers is in not knowing the source of their blessings. This is why it is important for us to understand the source of the rain of blessings reserved for us this month. When you know the source, you will know how to position yourself and how to maximize every word that will come from this platform throughout the month.
According to the anchor scripture, the source of rain is clearly revealed, God Himself. God said to Elijah: “Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain upon the earth.” Elijah understood this truth deeply. He knew he was not the one that would cause the rain to fall; he only carried the instruction, but God remained the Source. This understanding gave Elijah the boldness to announce to Ahab in verse 41 that the sound of abundance of rain was already here.
Beloved, when you see God as the true source of the rain you need, your confidence in Him will be unshakable. I guarantee you, if you understand this revelation, your life shall be soaked with abundance of rain this month.
In this context, rain represents blessings, victories, promotions, favour, healing, and every good thing you desire from God. This month, the Lord is determined to rain upon us those things that will bring comfort, ease, and visible testimonies into our lives.
Therefore, from now on, fix your eyes on God as the only Source of provision for all your needs. Your boss, uncle, aunt, friends, and helpers are not the source, they are only channels through which God reaches you. When you recognize God as the Source, you will be free from shame, disappointment, and reproach.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
You will not see shame anymore, in Jesus name.
