21-DAY PRAYER & FASTING (DAY 4)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees” (1kings 18:42)
Please be aware that prayer and fasting are not meant to punish us, but to furnish our destiny. They are a covenant platform for the fulfilment of our glorious destiny in Christ.
One of the wonders of prayer and fasting is that they facilitate the fulfilment of prophecies. This means that we pray and fast prophecies into speedy fulfilment.
There are certain oppositions to the fulfilment of prophecies that will never surrender except by prayer and fasting. In today’s anchor Scripture, Elijah spoke as he was commanded by God, yet he did not wait idly for the prophetic word to be fulfilled. Rather, he engaged in spiritual warfare for its fulfilment.
The Bible says:
“…And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees” (1 Kings 18:42).
Again, the Bible says:
“Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain; and it rained not on the earth for the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain…” (James 5:17-18).
Elijah did not just speak; he engaged in fervent prayer to see the prophecy fulfilled. Prophecies may lie fallow forever if they are not prayed into fulfilment. This is one of the reasons for this exercise.
We are not fasting merely to abstain from food; rather, we are fasting and praying our lives into next-level breakthroughs (Luke 9:29).
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
May your next-level breakthrough prophecies manifest before the end of this fast, in Jesus name.
PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Thank God for His Word to us daily via MTD (Matt 6:11).
- Pray for God to empower us for higher dimensions of global impact (Acts 1:8).
- Pray for the speedy fulfillment of every prophecy in our lives (Isaiah 55:10-11).
- Pray for grace to take responsibility for the manifestation of your next-level breakthrough (James 1:25).
- Pray for any other requests (Phil 1:6).
DAILY DECLARATION:
“This year 2026, strange doors are opening for me, bringing me into my next-level breakthrough and establishing me to reign as a king, in Jesus name – Amen.“
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
