ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Gal 6:9 NKJV)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for another opportunity to read today’s MTD. Let your Word minister life to me in all areas, in Jesus name – Amen.”
One of the greatest temptations in a waiting season is to abandon what you know is right simply because results appear delayed. I mentioned this in July, and I feel led to emphasize it again. When answers to prayers seem slow, or when your effort doesn’t produce immediate results, you’re tempted to say: “What is the point of continuing?” But today’s anchor scripture encourages us not to grow weary in well-doing. There is a due season, an appointed time, when your harvest will surely come, if only you remain consistent.
Let’s draw a lesson from Noah. He kept building the ark even when there was no sign of rain. What about Daniel? He kept praying three times a day, even under threat of death. Think about Anna, the prophetess. She kept serving God in the temple with fasting and prayers until the day she saw the Messiah. None of them gave up; they kept doing what they knew to do until God showed up.
Beloved, consistency in doing what you’re commanded is proof of genuine faith. Anyone can obey when things are easy, but true faith is shown in persistence, when you continue to pray, serve, give, and trust even when nothing seems to be changing. God is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love. Every prayer you pray, every seed you sow, every act of obedience you perform is building up a harvest for your life.
Beloved MTDian, don’t let the enemy trick you into stopping. Keep doing what you know best to do. Keep trusting, keep believing, keep serving, keep sowing, keep praising, and keep on keeping on. In due season, God will reward your faithfulness openly.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Your hands will not be weak, your faith will not fail, and your harvest will not be lost. In due season, you will reap a testimony that will silence your enemies, in Jesus name.
