ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither” (2kings 4:10)

SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved” (Hosea 12:13)

PERSONAL PRAYER:
Father, speak to me through this message today. Let my heart be open and my spirit alert. Position me to receive what you’ve prepared for me, in Jesus name – Amen.

More often than not, when God wants to visit you, He often sends a person. He places a Prophet in your life as a carrier of His Word, Wisdom, and divine help. Many people miss divine visitation because they are waiting for something dramatic, while ignoring the vessel God has already sent to them.

The Shunammite woman didn’t ask for a miracle. She simply honoured Elisha by welcoming him, feeding him, and building a space for him in her home. That honour provoked her miracle. Joshua didn’t force leadership on himself; he simply followed and honoured Moses. Elisha didn’t struggle to receive double portion of Elijah’s spirit, he simply stayed faithful and honoured him to the end. Their lives teach us that honour is a spiritual key to continuous encounters with God who turns things around.

Honour is not just a feeling in the heart, it’s expressed through consistent actions. You honour the one God sends your way by valuing their words, receiving their counsel with humility, and obeying spiritual instructions without argument. You honour them by praying for them, giving to them when you’re able, and appreciating what they do for the body of Christ. Honour also means protecting their name, not joining others to criticize or tear them down.

Please note that familiarity can kill honour. When you get too casual with the vessel God sends to you, you can become blind to the grace they carry. That’s why people in Jesus’ hometown missed their visitation, they saw Him as just ‘the carpenter’s son’ and closed their hearts to His ministry.

If you desire divine visitation to be consistent in your life, don’t just ask for it, make room for it through honour. Honour keeps the door of prophetic blessings open. It sustains the oil that blesses you.

The prophet is not God, but they are sent by God. And when you honour who He sends, you position yourself to receive what heaven has released.

There are blessings that only honour can attract. Don’t let pride or familiarity rob you of what God has packaged for you. Keep the door open, honour the man/woman He sends your way.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
From today, I see you walk in a consistent access to prophetic rewards, in Jesus name.
