ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth” (Psalm 110:3)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
There are two powerful truths in the above anchor scripture that reveal why God gives us His Power.
- The Bible speaks of a specific season called “the day of His Power.” That day is now. We are living in a time where God is pouring out His power, not just religion or formality, but real Power that changes lives.
Romans 1:16 says: “The gospel is the Power of God unto salvation.” When God’s Power comes upon you, your life cannot remain hidden. Just like Jesus returned from the wilderness in the Power of the Spirit and His fame spread (Luke 4:14), so will your life begin to shine and draw attention when God’s Power rests on you.
- Another word that caught my attention in this verse is: “Thy people shall be willing.” This means that when God’s Power is working in your life, people will respond to you. They will be moved to help you, even when they don’t feel like it.
God meets our needs through people. He doesn’t come down physically to give us a job, promotion, money, or something; He puts what we need in the hands of others. When His Power is at work, those people will be stirred to release what they carry.
Think of Mordecai in Esther 6. His reward was in the hands of the king. But nothing happened until God moved. That night, the king could not sleep until he honoured Mordecai. That’s what divine Power does; it removes resistance and causes people to act in your favour.
But this power is not automatic. It is given to those who are hungry for more of God. Matthew 5:6 says: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” If you seek Him in prayer, fasting, and intense worship; His Power will flow through you.
So, are you hungry for God’s power? Do you desire to walk in divine favour and influence? Then seek God with your whole heart. When His power comes, nothing can stop your rising.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Just as the king could not sleep until Mordecai was remembered, those in charge of your next level breakthrough will be stirred to act this season, in Jesus name.
