ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4)
- PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
I want you to understand this morning that we are entitled to the Power of the Holy Spirit as children of God. There’s a deposit of this Power in us at salvation. This means, we can’t experience genuine Power of God without genuine salvation. Beloved, if you’re empowered, you can’t be molested by the devil. You can’t carry God’s Power within you and not make impact. Power is the answer to all forms of molestation and the secret to a life of impact.
How do you manifest this Power? Be aware that the Power within you can only manifest as you stir it up through prayer. Heartfelt prayer is necessary to release the Power within. Until you travail in prayer, you can’t bring forth. The Bible says, “…for as soon as zion travailed, she brought forth her children” (Isaiah 66:8b).
The apostles in today’s anchor scripture prioritized prayer and the ministry of the word. They said: “…It is not reasonable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables… But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:2-4). Prayer is a strong force that releases God’s Power. If you can’t travail in prayer, you can’t prevail in power!
PROPHETIC PRAYER: I pray for the release of the spirit of grace and supplication on your life, in Jesus name.
