Today, the last day of the month, I want to leave you with this truth: Serving God pays. It is the secret to experiencing all-around profits in life.
The Bible shows us an inspiring account of the people of Judah, who entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and soul (2Chro 15:12-15). This covenant was a commitment to serve God above all else. As a result of this, the people of Judah were rewarded with all-around peace, there was no more war (2Chro 15:19).
Serving God is ordained for profitability. Proverbs 14:23 says: “In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.” This means that when we pursue God and the interests of His Kingdom with all our heart, we can be sure of the unmatchable benefits in return both in this life and the next.
However, it’s essential to recognize that not every service is acceptable to God. Hebrews 11:6 says, “God is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” This means that our service to God must be motivated by a genuine desire to please Him, rather than self-interest or ulterior motives.
Serving God is like partnering with Him. When we commit to serving God faithfully, we can be sure that He will reward us accordingly. As we prioritize serving God above all else, we will surely experience the benefits of our partnership with Him.
As we conclude this month’s theme today, grace to continue to serve God with all your heart, soul, and strength, is yours, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Your service to God shall be openly rewarded this season, in Jesus name.
