Soul winning is the heartbeat of God and the primary reason Jesus Christ came into the world. That is the number one work He came to do. In today’s anchor scripture, He said the work I do, shall you do also. Soul winning is the core mission of Christianity, yet, it’s often overlooked or relegated to the background by many. As believers, we need to understand the significance of this Great Commission and make it a priority in our lives.
Jesus Christ came to redeem humanity from the clutches of sin, sickness, disease, death, poverty, lack, and so on. His primary business was to restore man to God, and this is the same mission He has entrusted to you and I. As His followers, we are called to continue His work, seeking and saving the lost (Luke 19:10).
As believers, we have a mandate to win souls. Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt 28:19-20). This is not an optional task; it’s a command. We are called to be witnesses for Christ, to share the Gospel with the lost, and to disciple new believers.
Soul winning is not only a command; it’s also a blessing. When we make soul winning our daily routine, we will experience the joy of seeing souls saved, the satisfaction of knowing we are fulfilling Great Commission, and the privilege of partnering with God in His work.
It’s time for us to rise to the challenge of soul winning. Will you join me in taking this business seriously? Let’s rise and make a difference in the world for Christ.
