TEXT: “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord” (Ps 122:1)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.” (Ensure you pray this prayer before proceeding).
To qualify for divine lifting, we must adopt attitudes exemplified by our Lord Jesus, primarily love. We must love God unconditionally, just as He loves us. Previously, we explored proofs of genuine love for God. We said that genuine love for God is characterised by a God-first lifestyle, kingdom priority lifestyle and identifying with Jesus everywhere you are.
Let see one more proof.
- If you love God, you will love His house. This means no excuse will be strong enough to keep you away from church services. The house of the one you love is never burdensome to visit. Love always draws you back there. If the one you love is God and His Church is His house, then every true lover of God will never miss Church services. I believe your Church denomination broadcasts services live. If you genuinely cannot attend in person, join online.
Pst David Oyedepo (Jnr) says: “Who you love determines where you go.” That’s why you see that lovers of God are misunderstood by the people of the world. They ask questions like, Why is he always going to Church? Can’t he pray at home? If you say such words to people, it’s because your love for God is not genuine. When you pray at home it’s like making phone call to God. When you come to Church you are coming to encounter God. Where you are during Church service is a proof of where your love is.
PRAYER: I pray that God will ignite within you a renewed passion for His house today, and may it culminate in your divine lifting, in Jesus Mighty name.

Question
If the people in the church you go do not show you love, totally ignore you as if u don’t exist, then you can feel uncomfortable worshiping amongst them.
As a person show love to the church members, love should be showed back to them
It is not for a person to judge you as if you are a wrong doer, and not them. The Bible says we are all sinners. And fall short of the glory of God.
If every thing you suggest in your church to do is ignore, and other persons suggestion is adopted, then it is clear that your suggestion is not respected .
The choice is to stop going and take it to the lord in prayer or worship wherever Good lord carries you.
Agreed. You can locate another place where God is worshipped in Spirit and in truth. Or you can hook up to other Churches online until God leads you to the right one.
