TEXT: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matt 22:37)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize that your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that it penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
The truth is, many people desire divine lifting or promotion, but are unwilling to pay the required price. God is ready to lift you, but the question remains: are you prepared to pay the price? Our focus today is on the lifestyle necessary to provoke divine lifting. What are the essential qualities and habits required to experience God’s promotion?
- RIGHT ATTITUDE. Beloved child of God, remember that attitude is a habitual mode of thought or feeling; a manner of carrying oneself. Your attitude will determine your altitude in life, which means your attitude will determine your level of lifting or promotion.
The word of God however, encourages us to have a Christ-like attitude (Phil 2:13). Such attitude is a magnet that attracts favour and miracles.
One of the Christ-like attitudes we must imbibe is Love. Your love for God will set you apart for divine lifting. What is love in this context? Love can be defined as a:
- GOD-FIRST LIFESTYLE. God-first lifestyle is when God holds the top priority in your life and considerations. This ‘God-first lifestyle’ means loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matt 22:36-40). When you make room for God first in all your endeavours, you become a person set for lifting. Whatever contends with your love for God is an enemy of your divine lifting.
Prioritizing God in your daily routine is a powerful expression of your love for Him. Seeking God’s guidance before making decisions demonstrates your trust and reliance on Him and it’s a sign of your love for Him. Putting God at the center of your relationships, work, and day to day activities cultivates a deeper connection with Him. Are you having a right attitude or wrong one? Your attitude will determine your altitude.
PRAYER: I pray for you today, whatever that is contesting your love for God is declared dead today, in Jesus name.

Thankyou for such refreshing word backed up with scriptures. This has shown me that I have been on the right track all my life , even though I stumbled and fell off track from time to time.
I pray that i will no longer fall off tract , and I ask the Almighty to steady my feet and keep me on track and on higher ground.
God has taken me out of the miary clay , and put my feet on a rock to stay, he put a song of praise in my soul today . Hallelujah
