TEXT: “And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved” (Hosea 12:13)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize the transformative power of your Word. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that your truth penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
From scripture, we recognise that God is committed to teaching our hand to profit as we journey with Him, as stated in our anchor scripture for the month (Isaiah 48:17). If you truly desire profit in your life’s journey, there are essential things you need to pay attention to, these includes the ministry of prophets.
Every encounter with genuine prophets always set a supernatural force in motion. For example, Saul’s encounter with Prophet Samuel transformed his life (1Sam 10). A prophetic word from a prophet can forever alter the course of your life and destiny.
Beloved, to experience a significant push in life, you need a prophetic connection more than a political affiliation. Pls, don’t let your past negative experiences with some prophets diminish the vital role their ministry plays in God’s plan for your life. If you’ve encountered fake prophets, it is because there are original you’re yet to meet.
Prophets are dear to God’s heart as His chosen channels to communicate with His people. They carry supernatural authority and a divine gift enough to set your life in order. When you encounter them, you’re encountering the gift and the anointing they carry. The Bible says: “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward…” (Matt 10:41a). Nothing can stop the reward a prophet carries from manifesting in your life.
You need a prophet over your life to go fast and to go far in life. The lame man who takes the right direction by a prophetic encounter will definitely outrun anyone who takes the wrong one. You need a prophetic lifting. My prayer for you today is that your eyes be open to recognise your own prophet. I know who my prophets are and I’m doing all it takes to tap into what they carry.
