TEXT: “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain” (1Kings 18:41)
Welcome to the MTD Covenant Day of Mercy! Today, get ready to encounter God’s mercy and experience an overflowing downpour of blessings in your life, in Jesus mighty name.
I hear the sound of an abundance of rain. Prophet Elijah spoke these words in a place and time where there had not been a single drop of rain from the sky or dew on the ground for three and a half years. “Abundance of rain” means abundant life. It signifies surplus in place of scarcity. It means that the rivers will flow once more, fish will be plentiful again, and crops will grow abundantly again. It means that joy will replace sorrow, laughter will follow weeping, and so on.
The Lord says, ‘Heavy rain is coming this week.’ I hear the abundance of it. Get ready for a heavy restoration of everything you’ve been deprived of in the past. A floodgate of divine supplies will open, pouring into your life in such abundance that others will take notice and ask, ‘What’s happening?’ Expect a massive release of divine surprises that will bring joy and celebration.
Beloved, don’t let your current situation discourage you! You may be in a dry season, but don’t worry. Even when Elijah didn’t see any signs of rain, he heard the sound of abundance. What sound can you hear? The sound you hear will determine the signs you see. I can hear the sound of a downpour of blessings coming to Morning Tea Devotional Family this week. Get ready to receive yours!
I can hear the sound of the rain of favour, and I know it is coming! When it falls, everything you have lost to Satan will be restored in abundance. Let go of anxiety, and, listen for the sound of rain with me today. I guarantee you, by the word of God, that if you hear it, you will see the signs and experience the downpour of blessings this week, in Jesus name.
I declare over your life and destiny; an abundance of rain is coming your way this week. Expect a downpour of help, supplies, healing, righteousness, testimonies, answers, blessing, favour, restoration.
“AND IT CAME TO PASS in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, AND THERE WAS A GREAT RAIN. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel” (1Kings 18:45)
‘And it came to pass’ means that event actually happened. It indicates that event took place at a certain time in history. As long as God has said it, it will definitely come to pass. This prophecy shall come to pass in your life and family this week, in Jesus name.
ACTION STEP:
