TEXT: “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him” (Matt 4:11).
Today is Morning Tea Devotional Hour of Mercy. As instructed by God, every Monday, from 12pm-1pm, every MTDian is to approach God in prayer believing Him for a turnaround encounters. God had been faithful to us and I pray that you will encounter your own testimonies via this altar today, in Jesus name.
I’m glad to announce to you that this week, God is prepared to help us in whatever area that we need His help.
I will like to let you know that one of the channels by which God extend His help to us is through the ministry of angel. And this is provoked through prayers. The story of Peter in the book of Acts chapter 12 illustrates this. When he was kept in prison waiting to be executed, the Church Prayed for him continually until God sent an angel to rescue him. Beloved, it is your continuous engagement with God on the altar of prayer that makes God’s help available to you via angelic intervention.
Zechariah’s predicament was terminated when God sent angel Gabriel to announce his miracle (Luke 1:5-13). Angels also, are our security agents that excel in strength (Ps 103:20). They are there to ward off all evils and plagues from us. They are the fire fighters of heaven; God’s rescue agents. Their job is to intervene and rescue believers in the midst of trouble. “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Ps 91:11).
What more? They ensure that only God’s will is established in the life of a believer. They are to minister for us that are heirs of salvation. That is why in today’s anchor scripture angels came and ministered to Jesus. “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Heb 1:14). Today, the Lord shall meet you at your point of need via angelic ministration, in Jesus name.
ACTION STEP:
Today, I want you to go before God at the Hour of Mercy (12pm-1pm of your country’s time) and engage the altar of prayer fervently so as to enjoy the helps of God that come through angels. Tell Him what you desire, the angels of God shall be dispatched to release them to you this week.
PRAYER: Your testimony is finally here, in Jesus name.

This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
