TEXT: “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come” (Psalm 102:13)
I welcome you to the month of May 2024. I give God the glory for keeping and feeding us with His Word from January till date. He that keeps us till date shall keep us till the end of the year and beyond, in Jesus name. Thank God for His visitation last month, the results of His visitation in our individual lives shall remain with us for life, in Jesus name.
What is God saying to us in the Morning Tea Devotional Family this May 2024?
From scriptures, we understand that man is never destined to labour all his life out to meet his needs. No! God patterns our lives not to labour alone but also to enjoy His favour to the fullest. The anchor scripture for the month above says: “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” There is a set time for favour in God’s calender for us His children.
Labour is good because according to the Bible, there is dignity in labour but, favour is better. What takes a man who labours one year to achieve and acquire, a man of favour will achieve and acquire it in one day. The pathway to uncommon breakthroughs is favour. Strange breakthroughs in any believer’s life more often than not are products of God’s favour. I see God decorate your life with strange favour this month, in Jesus name.
In view of this, this month of May 2024, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our month of: “UNCOMMON FAVOUR” (Psalm 102:13).
As we journey together through the pages of scriptures via MTD this month, all your labours over the years that has produced nothing or little shall be converted to favour, in the precious name of Jesus. Be expectant, be diligent, be sensitive and above all, be ready because God is set to lift you by His favour.

This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
