TEXT: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High” (Psalms 92:1)
If there’s anything to crave for as we give God genuine praise this month is the blessing of God. This is because, as I mentioned yesterday, it guarantees struggle-free life. The blessing of God is so powerful that a man with it prospers in whatever good thing he does. The Bible says: “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful…he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (Psalms 1:1-3).
Also, the blessing of God is so powerful that it makes us indestructible. The meaning is that, anyone who carries the blessings of God cannot be destroyed. How do I know? The Bible says: “…Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it….” (Isa 65:8). This simply means that the blessing of God guarantees our protection from the wickedness of the wicked.
What more? It is the blessing of God that empowers us to prevail where others travail. Jesus Christ is the blessing of God personified. He has travailed for us as a Lamb. We need not to travail again as long as we focus our eyes on Him via praise. Praise is much more than just singing and feeling good! It is to provoke the blessing of God on our life continually. This is why the Psalmist in today’s anchor scripture says “It is a good thing to praise God!” (Ps 92:1).
PRAYER: By the blessing of God on your life, you will not die untimely. You are preserved and protected, in Jesus name!
TODAY’S TASK:
Give God at least 30mins uninterrupted joyful praise today! Choose a time that will be convenient for you. Wonders shall be your new experience this month, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “No obstacle can withstand a man that carries God’s Presence and God’s Presence is provoked by genuine praise.”
