TEXT: “When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?” (John 5:6)
Another biblical truth I want us to examine this morning in our quest to know the required positioning for restoration is:
- GOD IS EVER READY TO RESTORE YOU
Jesus’ question in today’s anchor scripture is a proof that God is always ready to heal, to save, to deliver, and to restore. The problem is always with man. Many are so good in postponing their day of visitation. I want you to know that we serve the God of NOW, not only the God of FUTURE. He will not postpone what He can do for you today till tomorrow.
His commandment is:
“Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee” (Pro 3:28).
God who gave this commandment will not break His word. I want to ask you this question: Can God restore your wasted years and all that the devil stole? Is He capable of restoring your peace, your health, your broken marriage or your business? If the answer to the able question is yes, then He will not tell you to come tomorrow, next week or next year. He is always ready to meet your needs now as long as your faith can capture it.
Bishop David Oyedepo said: “God will not be stronger tomorrow than He is today.” He is the ‘I AM THAT I AM.’ He is the I AM God, not ‘I will be God’ or ‘I was God.’ Dear child of God, don’t postpone your restoration. The Bible says: “He is the very Present Help in times of need” (Ps 46:1). Do you need restoration? He’s the present Restorer. He will not be more restorer tomorrow than He is today. You need healing? He is the Present Healer. He will not be more more healer tomorrow that He is today.
Don’t postpone your testimony. God is willing, He’s able and He’s is always ready to restore you. Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, a matter is established (Matt 18:16). Your restoration is established on this cardinal truth.
PRAYER: Receive your complete restoration now in Jesus name!
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “God will not be more restorer in the future than He is today.”
