TEXT: “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalms 119:130).
The Word of God is light. The Bible says: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). The entrance of the word word of God gives light and understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130). The Word of God illuminates our paths. It instructs us and shows us the will of God so that we don’t miss our way or go into error. If you follow the Word of God beloved brother/sister, you will never walk in darkness. “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life” (Prov 6:23).
The Word of God has the ability to bring illumination to our spirits and give us insight into the reality of things around us. This year 2024, God wants to lead us step by step to our advancement, and He does this mostly through His Word if we will take the time to read, study and obey its instructions. Let the Word of God be the light by which you see all things. Let it guide you in all your affairs – in your marriage, ministry, academics, business, finances and every area of your life. Let the Word of God lead you. Refuse to walk in darkness.
Dear child of God, make up your mind today to walk in the light of God’s Word by your obedience to His instructions. Don’t be dominated by the flesh (sin). Psalmist said, “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” (Psalm 119:11). God has given us His word to guide us through life so that we will not walk in darkness. “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light” (Psalm 36:9). If you study, listen to, meditate on, and constantly obey the Word of God, you will never walk in darkness.
PRAYER: The light of God will shine on your path. You will never miss your steps this year 2024 and onwards, in Jesus name.

This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
