DAY 16 (MTD ANNUAL 21 DAYS FAST)
TEXT: “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” (Prov 29:18).
Destruction is inevitable where there is no vision. People of great destinies both in Scriptures and in our world today were/are people of great vision. Great vision gives birth to great destinies. Life can be at risk without vision. Beloved, I beg of you, don’t run your life without definite vision from God. This is because both the quality and durability of your life are determined by vision. Men of old like Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, etc, fulfilled quality life by the vision they received from God.
What is vision? Vision according to Bishop David Oyedepo simply means “taking delivery of God’s plans and purposes for our lives.” Dear child of God, until God’s plan for your life unfolds, your destiny remains hidden.
Let’s examine one importance of vision today.
- Vision helps us to make quality decisions in life. The decisions or choices you make in life will either shape you or maim you. One wrong decision can wreck a whole life. I pray for you this morning, you will not be a victim of wrong decision or choice, in Jesus name. A man or woman without vision is an indecisive person. You cannot but make wrong decisions when vision is absent. Many people are hanging around people they are not supposed to because they lack vision.
Hear me; anybody that is not going in your direction this year 2024 is not qualified to be in your association. It’s time you scan your life and detach yourself from certain associations, especially the one that is headed opposite direction of your life. Let your vision determines the friendship you keep.
However, what is in this prayer and fasting?
DIVINE HEALTH
Prayer and fasting is the key to divine health. Serving God guarantees divine health. The Bible says: “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee” (Exo 3:25). Ana at 82 was serving God with prayer and fasting in the temple (Read Luke 2:37). Prayer and fasting is one of the cheapest and profitable platform of service to God and it guarantees divine health.
PRAYER: Sickness is an oppression of the devil. I decree that thou shall be far from oppression this year in Jesus name (Acts 10:38, Isaiah 54:14)
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
DAY 16 PRAYER GUIDELINES:
- Father, we thank you for diverse encounters and visitations in the ongoing prayer and fasting, in Jesus name (1Thes 5:18).
- Father, by the blood of Jesus, every root of sickness, pain, aches, disease and infirmity in my life, is uprooted and consumed by fire, in Jesus name (Matt 15:13).
- Father, we declare that no MTDian will lose his or her life to sickness this year and beyond, in Jesus name (Acts 27:22).
- Ask God for other things (Phil 4:6)
