TEXT: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1)
Glory to God who made it possible for us to see year 2024. This year, God is set to work in us and with us and this shall cause us to advance in the midst of adversity.
The Lord says 2024, to us as Morning Tea Devotional, is our year of “ADVANCING IN ADVERSITY.” The meaning is that no matter the adverse effect of the economy of the world, it will not stop our progress this year and beyond. The Bible says: “But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel” (Exodus 1:12). This word of prophecy shall find speedy fulfilment in your life, in Jesus name.
This second day of the year, I want you to meditate with me the above anchor scripture. If there is anything you must not fail to acknowledge this year to advance in the midst of adversity is God. He is all we need to have all our needs met this year. Life has no meaning without God. There was no beginning until He stepped it. Everything was void, dark and in confusion, but as soon as God stepped in, heaven and earth began, everything was formed.
Beloved, you need God to give form to your life this year. Don’t rely on anybody or the government of the day to provide the answer you need this year. Everything remains formless without God even if you are highly connected. There is no you or me without God.
As we begin year 2024, you need God to breathe life into those dead areas of your life. Here me again! Don’t make God an option this year, let Him be the only option you have. Jesus said, “…for without me you can do nothing“ (John 15:5). Apostle Paul says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me” (Phil. 4:13).
Before everything we see here on earth ever existed, God was first in existence. So, if you will move to the next phase of your life without hindrance this year, if you will advance irrespective of adversary and adversity, let God be first in your life.
By the Spirit of God, year 2024, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our year of: “ADVANCING IN ADVERSITY” (Exodus 1:12).
PRAYER: You shall not suffer stagnation this year, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.
