WHAT IS IN TODAY’S THANKSGIVING?

TEXT: “Out of them shall proceed thanksgiving the voice of them that make merry, I will multiply them they shall shall never be few, I will also glorify them they shall never be small” (Jer.30:19).

We as a Devotional, we are returning to God the giver of the mandate today with thanksgiving. Our thanksgiving shall be a combination of praise, worship and giving. For sustaining MTD for 10 years and till Jesus comes, He deserves our praise and worship and we will not deny Him of that.

We want to thank and praise God because we understand that until we thank Him for the little He has helped us to achieve as a Devotional, we can’t be raised above that level. We understand that it is only when we appreciate God that things begin to appreciate for us. When we thank Him for the five loaves of bread and two fishes, rather than saying “what is this among so many”, then God will give us capacity to feed the five thousand in the coming year.

Today, as a Devotional, we shall be thanking God for His finger for Him to perfect what He has started with us. While the disciples were complaining about the five loaves and two fishes (Their statement is: “What is this among so many?”), Jesus took it and gave thanks and it multiplied. The truth is that nothing dies in the hand of a praiser and a thanksgiver.

What are we to expect in today’s thanksgiving?

  1. Expect supernatural multiplication of the blessings of God in 2024.
  2. Expect supernatural turnaround of your life and destiny.
  3. Expect the earth to yield her increase to you in 2024.
  4. Expect the visitation of God for your change of story in 2024.
  5. Expect greater and higher impact of MTD in 2024 and beyond.

DETAILS OF THE THANKSGIVING:

  • Gather your family/friends together in your home to give thanks to God for sustaining MTD for these years.
  • Thank God for the impact of MTD since inception, especially this year 2023.
  • Praise God in a dance for at least 10mins.

PRAYER: As we thank God for His sustainable grace and for making MTD impactful, we shall yet see greater grace and more impact in 2024, in Jesus name.
