TEXT: “I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord” (Psalms 116:17)
If this year 2023 will end with outstanding change of story for you, then take note of these very important points:
(1) Have an attitude of gratitude.
You must be willing and ready to thank and praise God in everything in your life this season and always. Thank Him even in your difficulties. The Bible says: “In every thing, give thanks…” In whatever situation you are in right now, give Him thanks. Doing this is a sacrifice of your thanksgiving that today’s anchor scripture speaks about. If you do this genuinely, watch out, it will turn your troubles to triumph, in Jesus name (Heb 13:15 ).
(2) Don’t complain, no matter how bad the situation may seem now.
In times of difficulty, be very careful of what you say. Instead of complaining, think of ways you can verbally and tokenly offer God the sacrifice of your thanksgiving. When Jesus was faced with the challenge of feeding the five thousand men, He didn’t complain or murmur, He gave thanks (John 6). When you complain you complicate the situation.
(3) Don’t compare yourself with others.
Don’t wish that your life was different. God knows what is best for you. The Bible says having a thankful heart is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. When we begin to thank God for what we have rather than comparing ourselves with others, it opens the door for God’s blessings.
Put these to work!
PRAYER: You shall not end this year empty-handed. There shall be sudden turnaround for you, in Jesus name.
GOOD NEWS!
Be reminded that Saturday 30th December 2023 (last Saturday of the year) is MTD thanksgiving day. We shall all be retuning with a loud of voice of thanksgiving to God who sustained MTD all through 2023. We will thank Him in a dance and with our resources. What we thank God for cannot down. So, MTD as a mandate and you the partner will never go down in life, destiny and in impact come 2024, in Jesus name.
DETAILS OF THE THANKSGIVING:
- We shall gather our family together early hour of that morning in our various homes to give thanks to God for sustaining MTD for these years.
- We shall be thanking God for the impact of MTD since inception.
- We shall be praising God in a dance for at least 10mins.
- And we shall offer what we have to Him {Optional} (Call for details on this).
As we thank God for His sustainable grace and for making MTD impactful, we shall yet see greater grace and impact in 2024, in Jesus name.
