TEXT: “And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father…” (1Kings 3:3)
I want to start by admonishing every lover of Morning Tea Devotional to always crave for God’s presence. It is very important. In Exodus 33:14-16, Moses told God that he will go nowhere if the Presence of God will not go with him. Moses understood the importance of having the abiding Presence of God. The Presence of God is more than gold or silver, the Presence of God is the manifestation of who God is, His power, His greatness, His leading, His works, His guidance, His mercy, His love, His all.
Another very important access to God’s tangible Presence is:
- LOVE FOR GOD (1Cor 13:13)
Love is the strongest atmosphere that can ever be provided for the manifestation of the Presence of God. In the atmosphere of God’s Presence, signs and wonders is the order of happening. This means that your love for God is your passage to the world of signs and wonders. A lover of God is connected to divinity.
When you are in love with God you become one with God, and when you are one with God, signs, wonders and miracles become your identity. So walking in love with God is walking in the realms of the miraculous.
Love is superior to faith. Love for God is superior to faith in God. Faith may give you access to the gifts of God but love for God will give you access to all of God. Faith may give to you a miracle and a testimony but love for God will make you a miracle, a testimony and a living wonder. Hallelujah!. No wonder the scripture says: “The greatest is love” (1Cor 13:13).
What is love that attracts God’s tangible Presence.
- LOVE IS A GOD-FIRST LIFESTYLE
Love for God simply means, God having the first place in all your considerations. That miracle you are trusting God for, what is the place of God in it when it is released to you? When you make room for God first, you become a man and a woman to be wondered at. - IT’S A KINGDOM PRIORITY LIFESTYLE
Jesus said in Matt 6:33 (Paraphrased), “Seek the advancement, promotion and expansion of the Kingdom first in genuity, not faking it, and all things you desire shall be added unto you.” When the law of love is fulfilled, God’s tangible Presence is made manifest in your life for sign, wonders and miracle.
PRAYER: I pray for the baptism of the spirit of love on you today in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “Faith may give you access to the gifts of God but love for God will give you access to all of God.”
