TEXT: “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today…” (Exodus 14:13a)
I welcome you to another beautiful day. Your testimony shall breakforth today, in Jesus name. I will like to remind you that there are a lot of reasons for the delays that happen in our life. There are delays that ate caused by divine reasons, some are caused by satanic manipulations and some are caused by lack of expectation. All these have been examined from the light of scriptures. I encourage you to go through them again, they will bless you more.
Another reason why there are delays in our life is when we allow fear to creep into our heart. This is the case of the Israelites in our anchor scripture today.
The children of Israel were afraid to go forward when they were face to face with the Red Sea. And they were also afraid to enter the Promised land because of the walled cities and the giants.
Read with me what the scripture said about them below:
“And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” (Num 13:32-33).
Did you just see what I saw in the story of the Israelites? They had the faith required to move out of Egypt but, they did not possess enough faith to move into the Promised land. They allowed fear to creep into their hearts. The problem with fear is that it keeps you in the wilderness; in the desert and in the barren stages of life. It prolongs the delay. You will not be a victim, in Jesus name.
Hear me child of God, fear and faith cannot live together in the same house. Many of your dreams have not been fulfilled, not because God didn’t want them to get fulfilled but because you lack faith, you wouldn’t step out. God is saying to you today to fear not. Fear causes delays and keeps one from moving ahead. I say unto you this morning beloved, fear not, step out in faith and the needed miracle shall be released, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: That spirit of fear that has kept you in one spot is cast out of you today, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “You can’t conquer what you fear.”
