TEXT: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Rev 22:12)
Glory to God……Hallelujah!
We all made it to 2025! This year, the Lord is set to perform wonders in our midst as a Devotional Family through His Word. As children of God, we are called to a life of service. However, God is not a user of men; He is a rewarder of those who diligently and tirelessly seek Him (Heb 11:6).
In the Bible, we see numerous examples of God’s reward system. For instance, He always rewards:
- Faithfulness: “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matt 25:21).
- Obedience: “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee…” (Deut 28:1-2).
- Giving: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom…” (Luke 6:38).
- Perseverance: “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him” (Jam 1:12 – NIV).
Beloved, have you been labouring faithfully in God’s vineyard, especially in the Morning Tea Devotional, through praying, giving, sharing, and more? Your labour is not in vain, and it certainly did not go unnoticed. There is good news for you: this is your year of rewards! Every genuine labourer in God’s vineyard will be fully rewarded.
To all MTDians who have been labouring with us in this assignment, get ready for your full package of rewards! If you have committed your life to serving the Lord, I assure you that His rewards plan for you this year is amazing, and it is coming quickly.
In Matthew 19:29, Jesus assured Peter that anyone who sacrificed to follow Him “will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life.” Did you see that? That is the dimension of rewards package awaiting us this year!
